Functieomschrijving

• Negotiate & administer service contracts and projects with US Flag Ocean Carriers and Ocean Carriers on a yearly basis or whenever necessary and offer rates and service to US Government customers;
• Keep working procedures up to date, work on system improvements;
• Establish & meet company’s Goals and KPI’s – measure & review on a quarterly basis;
• Focus on quality, service and costs;
• Meet financial goals and budgets;
• Maintain a high level of service, analysing and resolving quality and customer service and system issues, identifying trends and recommending improvements;
• Be a coach for the team and work on development and training;
• Follow the internal procedures and safety guidelines;
• Identify, report and register IT-related information security risks or incidents according to the training received.

Profiel

• Have a good understanding of the US Cargo Preference Rules;
• Have a good understanding of ocean carriers’ service profiles and transit times;
• Know the ocean carriers USF services and routings in detail
• 5 year experience in a management job;
• Fluent English;
• Results driven;
• MS office programs;
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge;
• Establishes and maintains professional networks;
